Men's Issues Therapy
You Don't Have to Carry Everything Alone
Many men spend years believing they should be able to handle everything on their own. They push through stress, ignore emotional pain, and continue meeting responsibilities even when they feel overwhelmed inside. From the outside, life may appear successful. On the inside, you may feel anxious, disconnected, frustrated, emotionally exhausted, or unsure why things no longer feel fulfilling.
Therapy is not about fixing who you are. It is an opportunity to better understand yourself, develop healthier ways of coping, and create the kind of life and relationships you genuinely want. Together, we will explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped your life while building greater resilience, emotional flexibility, and connection.
Common Challenges Men Face
Every person's experience is different, but many men seek therapy for concerns such as:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Stress and burnout
- Trauma
- Relationship difficulties
- Anger or irritability
- Low self esteem
- ADHD
- Addiction and recovery
- Grief and loss
- Life transitions
- Difficulty expressing emotions
Many men also struggle with perfectionism, fear of failure, feeling responsible for everyone else, or believing they always need to have things under control. Over time, these patterns can contribute to emotional exhaustion, isolation, and difficulty feeling connected to yourself and others.
My Approach to Men's Issues Therapy
I believe many of the struggles men experience are not signs that something is wrong with them. They often represent adaptations that developed in response to difficult experiences, relationships, or expectations over time.
My approach is trauma informed and integrates Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR, attachment theory, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and parts work. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, we will work together to better understand the patterns beneath your struggles while developing healthier ways of responding to life's challenges.
Therapy is collaborative, individualized, and tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. My role is to help you better understand yourself while supporting meaningful and lasting change.
